Avnet's Commitment

Avnet’s Code of Conduct helps demonstrate its commitment to conducting business with integrity, and the Ethics Alertline helps demonstrate Avnet’s commitment to providing a confidential and anonymous (within the limits of and where allowed by law) means for our employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, communities, and other third parties to share concerns regarding any activity that violates or appears to violate Avnet’s Code of Conduct, company policies, or the law. The Alertline may also be used to seek guidance or to ask ethics or compliance-related questions regarding our work at Avnet.

Avnet understands that it takes courage to speak up, and it is important that people feel at ease when making reports of actual or suspected misconduct. It is accordingly Avnet’s policy not to retaliate against anyone who in good faith reports a potential or actual violation of its Code of Conduct, company polices, or the law. Making a report “in good faith” means a complete, honest account has been given that is believed to be true. A person found to have committed an act of retaliation against another person for making a report in good faith or for cooperating in an investigation will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

Internal access to the information processed as a part of any reports or investigations is granted strictly on a need to know basis with disclosure or transfer only within the limits of and where allowed by law.

By maintaining our commitments and accepting our responsibilities under the Code of Conduct, together we can foster and preserve an honest, ethical environment, and ensure we are doing business the right way – the Avnet way.

Various whistleblowing policies can be accessed on our Policies page.

The Alertline can be accessed here, which is hosted by EthicsPoint – NAVEX Global, a third-party provider.
